Over time, paver joints lose their sand. The color fades. The surface starts looking tired and worn out - even if the pavers themselves are still in great shape. That's a really common situation, and it's exactly the kind of thing we fix.

Here's what we were working with: a well-designed backyard patio with nice multi-colored pavers in a classic running bond pattern. Great bones. The space just needed some attention to match the potential it clearly had. We cleaned the surface, pulled out the old degraded joint sand, and re-sanded everything before applying a fresh coat of sealer.

Re-sanding matters more than most people realize. When the sand between pavers breaks down, it allows weeds to creep in and pavers to shift. Getting that joint sand locked back in - and then sealing over it - stabilizes everything and gives the surface a clean, finished look. The color depth you get from a quality seal coat is a big part of what makes the end result so satisfying.

What you end up with is a surface that's not just better looking, but actually protected. The sealer locks out moisture, stains, and the kind of weathering that breaks pavers down over years. This is one of those services where the difference between before and after is genuinely noticeable - not just up close, but from across the yard.

The curved border edging, the fire pit area, the transition between the paver field and the surrounding turf - every section got the same level of attention. A backyard like this deserves to look as good as it was designed to be.
